About Deborah
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Deborah Ervin currently lives and works in Chicago, Illinois. She received her BFA from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a major concentration in Graphics and a minor in Drawing. Over the years, Deborah has built up an extensive career in which she parlayed her creativity into marketing, communications, public relations, design, promotions, events and social media for a variety of industries: small business, corporate, publishing, entertainment, and non-profit.

Through her freelance, she offers her talents and experience to companies of all kinds in creating or further implementing their strategic integrated creative marketing.
Through her photography and illustration, she captures one’s story in the form of an image. Be it a corporate or personal event, lifestyle moments needed for marketing collateral, professional headshots, or even that special pet, Deborah’s eye behind the camera will find your perfect shot and provide you with the timeless photography that you desire. When you need an image where a photograph will not quite do, she can create you an illustration that fits your needs. She is equally skilled at producing an illustration digitally as well as hand-drawn.
Motivated by her love of her first dog Elliott and her current dog Cooper, Deborah launched Inspired by Cooper & Elliott: an online business where she creates custom pet portraits in a style unlike any other; offers private pet photo shoots; and breed specific merchandise based on the portraits she has produced.
Additionally, Deborah is available to create one-of-a-kind hanging and sculptural art pieces for home or commercial use.
